Day 1: Red
Navratri Day 1: Red |
I have created the look with red and brown eyes and a perfect long winged eye liner. Since it is Day 1 of the festival, I have opted for a simple daily wear long kurti with red borders and black palazzo pants. We can wear this to office just by reducing the eye shadow pigmentation.
Makeup Breakdown:
For Eyes:
Start by applying concealer all over your lids and dab some compact powder to set the concealer. The eye base is now ready to apply colours.
Apply Shade 1 from the Morphe Brushes 35O palette all over your eye lids and above crease. Apply Shade 2 at the corners in V shape and blend it in the crease.
Fill the eyelid area with the Red eyeliner pencil. I got these as pack of 12 different colours from Amazon. These are not glitter pencils as claimed but the colours are beautiful and very buildable. Blend all the shades nicely so that there are no harsh lines.
I have created the winged eyes using the Sugar cosmetics eye liner and applied load of mascara. And my eye makeup is done!
For Rest of the Makeup:
Start with applying some primer all over your face. I have used the Nivea After Shave Lotion. Apply foundation and hide all your dark circles using concealer. I have used the LA Girl concealer as concealer and NYX HD concealer on top of it to brighten under my eyes.
Set all the makeup using a compact or loose powder. Did a bit of contouring on my face using the darker shade from LA Girl concealer.
Finally, add some colour on your cheeks by applying a peachy brownish blush and put some highlighter to make the face glow!
For the lips, I have used the Huda Beauty matte liquid lipstick in the shade Trendsetter. Spray some Makeup Fixing spray all over and you are done!
Hope you liked the final look!
