Since I buy a lot of makeup, I am always in search for budget friendly ones. Something that is easy on pocket, has good ingredient and works good..isn't it like a dream come true!
I had my eyes on the brand Barry M since quite some time and finally I got the opportunity to try a few of their products. So a lots of review to come :)
Starting today with the Barry M Illuminating Highlighter Palette.

$ 16.95 AUD for 12 gm
What It Claims:
In 3 highly pigmented shades: Frosty Cream, Iced Pink and Gilded Bronzer, these are the perfect powders for all your highlighting needs. Easily blend able over makeup, use on cheekbones, brow bones and cupid's bow. Apply with a brush or with your finger to master this stunning glowy trend.
Packaging & Application:
The palette comes in a cardboard packaging which I don't like that much since it becomes difficult to travel with them. However, it seems quite sturdy and comes in a beautiful black and rose gold packaging which I am actually don't mind!
The palette has 3 beautiful shades:
The highlighter is not super glowy but can be easily built up. It does not seem to highlight my skin texture initially but if you go overboard then it might bring out your bumps. I often apply a cream highlighter before applying the powder ones. The highlighter lasted on me for about 5-6 hours and then starts fading out. It is not glittery and to top all up it is vegan and cruelty free!

I am really enjoying using the highlighter palette. If you are a makeup newbie or you like collecting affordable products, this might be a very good option. While the palette does not make your glow visible from distance, it definitely gives you the beautiful everyday glow. A definite value for the money!

- Frosty Cream - a gorgeous white highlighter. This is the brightest of all and appears as a bit champagne gold when applied. This is my favourite and gives a beautiful glow!
- Iced Pink - a muted pink which can work as both highlighter and blush.
- Gilded Bronze - a beautiful shade on its own but might not appear much on pale skin tones.
I prefer mixing either 1 and 2 or 2 and 3 & apply it on my cheeks.
