Packaging & Texture:
Nykaa is releasing new products non stop and the good part is that all of them are created with lots of love and care. An example of that care are these velvet matte crayon lipsticks. These are so easy to use and store! As the name suggests, these are in form of crayons, long black wooden sticks with shade displayed on the cap and at the back. These feel very light and easy to identify. However, these needs to be sharpened and the sharpener is missing! You need to search for the perfect sharpener and also a lot of product gets wasted while trying to give it the required shape.
My Experience:
If you are bored of the non stop mattes then this is your way out! Although I still love my mattes, but a break feels good. These have a beautiful velvet texture and a little bit of shine. These do not appear to be matte at all and definitely leaves stain on everything you use. However, it does not come out completely and lasts for a good 5-6 hours.
I picked up 2 shades and now lets talk about them.
Crushing On Pink 03 - this is a gorgeous, bright baby pink. This looks beautiful with just a bit of kajal/eyeliner. Immediately helps to brighten anyone's day! I also used it as a blush and it looked nice. However, I felt that it is moving my foundation from beneath. It takes a little bit of time and effort to blend it as a blush and I think I prefer powder ones over the creamy ones.
Spice, Spice Baby! 21 - what is life without a nude lip shade? I have way too many nudes but I always keep looking for something new. This is a beautiful brown nude shade that looks and feels superb. A perfect friend for those smokey eyes or a heavy eye makeup. An everyday shade for everyone.

Final Thoughts:
These are a definite good buys if you are looking for some soft, velvety shades on your lips. However, they are not very long lasting or matte. They are very easy to travel with (if you have a sharpened one) and doesn't make my lips dry at all. I am enjoying using them currently whenever I have to run for errands or make short trips. However, I still go back to my mattes when there is an event or I am out for a longer time.
The shade range is quite good and you should pick 1 or 2 shades to experiment! Let me know which one is your favourite shade among these!
